More About Beliefs

     When you lose your excess weight, what will you believe about yourself?  Why don’t you believe that already? Thought work - changing how you think - can help you change your beliefs – even before you achieve your results. Beliefs don't require proof.  Having strong beliefs will often help to create your results. When you imagine something frequently enough, your brain eventually believes it's true.

     When you visualize yourself as someone who has already reached her goal, you start acting like that person.  By acting as your future self today, your actions help create her.  When you act as your future self would act, you eventually start to believe that you can be that future self.  Those beliefs will then have you acting in ways that help you achieve your goals. 

     When you visualize yourself as healthy and energetic, you start behaving that way.  By acting that way before you’ve gotten to your goal, you guarantee that you will reach your goal.  Beliefs are powerful and will help you to achieve results more quickly.   

     The more often you think about what you want to achieve, the sooner you will create a new neural pathway in your brain.  Eventually, that neural pathway will become so entrenched that instinctively, you will act as the person you wish to be.   

     Changing your beliefs does not only work for weight loss.  Changing beliefs works with money, relationships, career goals, time management, and in many other areas. When you believe, you start acting in ways congruent to your beliefs and are more likely to bring about the changes you desire.
