New Tools to Bring About Change

     I've recently been using new tools to help my clients make changes in their lives more quickly.  These new tools include using hypnosis, self-hypnosis, and mental imagery. It's fascinating to see the rapid changes they have helped to bring about.  By permanently changing some of the brain's established neural pathways, new pathways are created to help make the desired changes.  I'm having fun using these tools to demonstrate the ability of our minds to create the life we desire. 

     These new tools are not only beneficial for weight loss.  They also help with anxiety, habit change, handling urges, improving relationships, improving sleep, and stopping procrastination. They are effective strategies that bypass some of the more intellectual areas of our brains.  If you are more of an information "consumer" rather than a "doer," you may find these tools are effective where other methods to bring about change have failed.   

     Losing weight is similar to changing many other areas of behavior.  The more strategies you know, the more likely it is that one or more will be the ones that work for you.  Using techniques that change your neural pathways and rewire your brain makes learning these new tools easy, fun, and effective. 

     When you form a new neural pathway, your original habits are replaced by new ones. Because these new habits are “rewired” into your brain, they soon become automatic.
